- Q1Can you tell us about the circumstances and reasons that led you to join the company?
- I have always admired the aviation industry since my student days and dreamed of working as a cabin attendant wearing a scarf. After graduating, I joined a foreign airline and worked as a cabin crew member for seven years. I took a break from flying after getting married, but I realized I wanted to work at the airport and interact with customers again. That’s when I found our company's group website and decided to apply.
-
- Q2What are your job responsibilities?
- I am responsible for checking in departing passengers at the check-in counter, guiding them to their flights at the boarding gate, and assisting arriving passengers with baggage claim after arrival.
-
- Q3When Do You Feel a Sense of Accomplishment?
- I always thought I really liked airplanes, but I was amazed after joining the company.I was amazed by the depth of my colleagues' "love for airplanes." Some even accurately identified flight numbers just from hearing the engine sounds in a room without windows. Although my previous job was in the same aviation industry, it was a completely different field. Honestly, there were many times I felt disheartened, thinking, "Why don't I understand this?" I am grateful for the work environment where I can immediately ask questions to my seniors whenever I have doubts. Through their detailed and careful explanations, I’ve gradually become able to handle tasks that once seemed difficult. These moments are when I truly feel a sense of accomplishment in my work.

- Q4Has your perspective changed since joining the company?
- In my previous job, I was responsible forall the preparations for the flights I worked on and provided services to customers in what could be described as a solo effort. After joining this company, I have come to constantly appreciate the importance of teamwork. Many professionals are involved in preparing a single flight, and just a few minutes can significantly impact the operation and the customers' impression of the airline.Even though we are responsible for different areas, I feel a sense of fulfillment every day knowing that we, as a team, work together to make each flight successful.

- Q5How do you describe Contrail?
- Although I loved my previous job and it was a great fit for me, but "Contrail" is a company where you truly feel the "warmth and connections among people." There is a lot to learn in the field, and I am grateful to be surrounded by seniors who teach me everything with great care. At the same time, it is a company that helps me grow as an individual working in the aviation world.
-
- Q6How do you spend your days off?
- My hobby is eating around. I often seek out well-known bakeries and Udon shops to check them out. If my schedule allows, I go with my husband or friends, or even visit places on my own if I find them intriguing!

A company with a strong sense
of "team unity".

- Q1Can you tell us about the circumstances and reasons that led you to join the company?
- While I was a student, I watched a television feature about female marshals and became interested in the aviation industry and ramp operations. I worked in this field for 12 years and 4 months. I learned about the company through a recommendation from a senior and was impressed by the president during the interview. I was captivated by his "passion." I wanted to contribute to improving the startup company, Contrail, with my own efforts and infuse it with my enthusiasm. That’s why I decided to join.
-
- Q2What are your job responsibilities?
- The time between when an airplane lands and when it takes off again is limited. At the airport's parking apron, we guide the plane, unload passengers and baggage, refuel, clean the cabin, and prepare for departure. A team of 7-8 staff members with specialized knowledge works together to ensure that these tasks are completed safely and without delays.
-
- Q3When Do You Feel a Sense of Accomplishment?
- In our workplace, there is zero sense of "foced to do something" The entire team is filled with a sense of "willing to do" Each task is performed with focus and determination while being aware of the surroundings. The ability to proactively carry out our tasks is what gives me a sense of accomplishment.
-
- Q4Has your perspective changed since joining the company?
- The openness typical of a startup has changed me. I constantly ask myself, "How can I make this more efficient?"We frequently brainstorm together to come up with new ideas. My creativity has certainly been honed. We make improvements by combining everyone's ideas into one form.

- Q5How do you describe Contrail?
- After joining, I encountered many difficult challenges. Without knowing my way around, I had opportunities to interact with people from other companies, something unheard of in my previous job. Sometimes I even communicated with overseas vehicle repair companies or considered vehicle transportation. Before I knew it, these barriers disappeared, and through various experiences, I found answers and grew personally. Contrail is a company that greatly expands the scope of your work. Additionally, it has an environment where you can chat and laugh freely during breaks, without any age barriers, creating a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
-
- Q6How do you spend your days off?
- I have two children ages 0 and 5, so I mostly go to parks on my days off.I completely disconnect from work during my time off and help my 5-year-old daughter practice riding her bike. Once the kids are able to start daycare, my wife plans to return to work. When I joined the company, I was assured that they would be flexible with my working arrangements, which I find very reassuring.
